Round table: what return can broadband investments be expected to- yield?     Biographie/Biography Jim McCafferty is Head of European Telecoms Research, managing a team of analysts in London and Paris to provide secondary coverage of European telecoms stocks. He joined SG in December 1998 after five years at ABN Amro, where he was Head of UK Telecoms Research.He graduated in 1991 from Heriot-Watt University, Edinburgh with a degree in Economics and started his career at County NatWest. Jim is dedicated to the global marketing of SG's European telecoms product. He also assists Corporate Finance in telecoms related deals. For example, SG was joint global co-ordinator of the Orange IPO in 2001. The team was ranked 9 th in the Reuters UK Larger Company Survey 2001 and 13 th (out of 35) in the Extel Pan-European Survey 2001.
