Roland Montagne is a Senior Consultant and Head of
Broadband Studies in the Marketing and Strategies
Department. Mr Montagne played a leading role in previous
IDATE International studies and is also Project Manager
for the World Atlas of the Internet : this study analyses
the evolutions of the access cost to the Internet
in 35 countries. Roland Montagne is also in charge
of the IDATE survey concerning the European Broadband
access market (DSL, cable, fibre optic). He has carried
out several studies dealing with operators broadband
infrastructures.
Roland Montagne is a Telecommunications Engineer (ENST
Paris). He also worked for France Telecom and AT&T
Bell laboratories (USA) as Engineer on DWDM Optical
Networks and ATM technologies.
