He joined the Thomson Group in February 1986, coming
from the National Institute for Audiovisual where
he worked as R&D engineer in computer graphics
and special effects. During the following years, he
served as Chairman and CEO of Thomson Digital Image
(TDI), a company specialized in 3D Computer Graphics
software and systems.
Mr. Hourcade is a graduate of the École Polytechnique
and École Nationale Supérieure des Télécommunications
in Paris.
