João Trigo da Roza is Advisor for Strategy of Portugal Telecom's CEO since September this year.

Former CEO of PT Multimedia.com, Portugal Telecom subholding in the internet area including a number of companies such as Telepac (ISP), Saber & Lazer (Sapo portal), UOL (leader ISP/portal in Brazil), and several vortals.

Up to July 2001, Mr. Trigo da Roza held the position of Vice-President and Country Manager of AT Kearney, focusing on telecom and banking, strategy and organization.

From 1993 to 1996, Board Member of Expo Urbe, the company in charge of the urban development project associated with the 1998 Lisbon World Exposition.

Prior to Expo98, he was Manager at McKinsey & Company where he participated in several projects such as the corporate strategy and design of multibusiness companies.

Born in Lisbon in 1959, graduated Civil Engineering in 1982, M. Sc. in Structural Engineering in 1986, MBA and post graduation in European Economics in 1989 and finally performed an Executive Program for Growing companies at Stanford Business School in the year of 2000.
