Scott Wickware is Director, UMTS Product Solutions within Nortel Networks’ Wireless Networks Business Unit. In this position, Scott is responsible for both the global Product Marketing of Nortel Networks’ end-to-end solution for UMTS Third Generation Wireless Systems and for the UMTS Product development requirements of Nortel’s customer base in Europe. He is based at Nortel Networks’ Wireless Networks headquarters in Châteaufort (Paris), France.

Scott began his career with Nortel Networks in 1992. Prior to this current appointment, he has held several international positions in Canada, France, Singapore and Australia. During these years, Scott has held various technical and management positions in the Wireless Internet business unit including engineering, technical sales support, product management and market development.

Scott holds a degree in Electrical Engineering from Queen’s University, Canada and is a member of the Professional Engineers of Ontario, Canada.

His hobbies include alpine skiing, running, international travel and cooking.
