1st TRANSATLANTIC TELECOM INDUSTRY

 

Erik Bohlin is currently a Visiting Scientist at IPTS (Institute for Prospective Technological Studies), which forms a part of the DG Joint Research Center of the European Commission. He is on leave as Associate Professor ("Docent") at the Department of Technology Management & Economics at Chalmers University of Technology, Gothenburg. He has published in a number of areas relating to the information society - policy, strategy, and management. He is Chair of the International Telecommunications Society; member of the Scientific Advisory Boards of Communications and Strategies, Info and Telecommunications Policy; Research Fellow of Institute of Management, Innovation and Technology (IMIT); Scientific Advisory Board of the Rosselli Foundation; and Jury Member of the Telenor Nordic Research Award in Telecommunications. He has been visiting researcher at Osaka University (1994), East-West Center in Honolulu (1997), Keio University in Tokyo (1997, 2001) and IPTS (1998-1999). He obtained his graduate degree in Business Administration and Economics at the Stockholm School of Economics (1987) and his Ph.D. at Chalmers University of Technology (1995).
